Once upon a time: Chapter 1
I am happy to introduce to you yet another cooperation with "Soccerman100".
This time we have a fairytale-themed story for you guys. A long, long time ago, there was a princess who, above all, was determined to get her prince. As it happens, though, there was a catch. The prince was locked in a high tower, guarded by a royal guard, both day and night.
The princess was no fool, of course, and she came prepared. First, she tries to reason with the guard to let her pass, and should the negotiation fail. She has a backup plan.
Earlier that day, she went to visit the old witch of the swamps and asked her for a means to make the prince hers once and for all. In exchange for a few drops of her blood, the old witch hands her a potion. When she drinks it, she'll be able to get the prince with no effort, the witch explains. But the effect of that potion is irreversible, the witch warns, refusing to give her more details about the pinkish liquid.

I tried to post-process the entire chapter to get a painting effect, which I think works great with a fairy-tale type of comic. I've spent a lot of time on this, but the result might not be for everyone. The paintings have a lot better overall feel, but are lacking small details, which is problematic with people in the distance. Bringing back the detail, while preserving the painting-like style would be too time-consuming, and I can't really afford that right now. Therefore, I have decided to include the painted version as an extra option, to see, if people are even interested in such a thing.
